A Feast for the Senses
Rich in history, scenery and cuisine, the people are what keeps us coming back to Vietnam. From north to south, it’s a contrast of distinctly local cultures, and our local guides make sure you don’t miss a beat. In the Da Lat market, exploding with more produce and people than the mind can process, we wade into the crowds to barter and buy. On the backstreets near the Citadel, we bike with trusted friends past friendly villagers and groups of laughing schoolchildren. In a private home, we sit down to dinner with royal descendants. And at the Six Senses Hideaway, our every indulgent whim is catered to with a smile.
Day 1 Tour the UNESCO-protected streets of Hué, the Imperial City
Day 2 Board our private riverboat and cruise up the Perfume River to the tomb of Minh Mang
Day 3 Ride into Da Nang to meet our friend Anh for lunch before continuing on into the majestic Marble Mountains
Day 4 Pedal past traditional rice paddies and fish farms on the outskirts of Hoi An
Day 5 Sip Champagne from the privacy of your boat-access-only beach villa as you take in an unforgettable sunset
Day 6 Indulge in luxury at the Six Senses Spa (this is a vacation, remember)
Day 7 Dine on delicious smoked duck salad or lobster consommé at Le Rabelais restaurant
Day 8 Experience the sensory feast that is Da Lat, a town bursting with fresh produce and friendly faces
Day 9 Bike through the coffee plantations that line the roads near Da Lat, then jet off for dinner in Hanoi
Day 10 Get an insider’s look at Hanoi’s delightfully chaotic street life via cyclo, a bike-powered cart
Day 11 Breakfast and tam biêt in Hanoi

Pilgrimage Village, Hué
The Pilgrimage Village is located in the peaceful countryside just 4 km (2 mi.) from the centre of Hué. You’ll come to appreciate this after learning that the only thing the Vietnamese love more than waking up early is honking the horns on their mopeds! The rooms are simple but comfortable, personal, and stylish.

Vietnam Biking 2009
“Let’s just say our trip was three months ago and we are still wishing we were in Vietnam with our B&R tour guides! Our experience was absolutely incredible and there is nothing we would have changed. The whole trip was a perfect balance of culture and variety. The guides constantly went above and beyond to make our experience more memorable. We are already planning our B&R trip for next year and will tell all our friends about our amazing experience.”
Sherrie Savett
Vietnam Biking 2010
“…Riding the coastal road in Tra Nang and arriving at the Six Senses Hideaway which was totally unique, riding the cyclos in Hanoi and feeling the intensity of the city, meeting a great Vietnamese female artist in her studio/home and exploring her lacquer paintings which dealt with universal themes which I could fully identify with, and our final party in Hanoi when I realized I had made some real friends and we would ever be connected by experiencing these two strange and different countries together.”
