One of the first companies to offer e-bikes on their regular tours, the luxury bike tour company B&amp;R has several e-biking trips. One of them is&nbsp;Alsace E-Biking,&nbsp;which starts in Strasbourg and goes to Dachstein, follows the famous Route des Vins and goes to Colmar, with a final dinner at Frères Haeberlin, a Michelin-starred restaurant. The level is "Recreational," with 25 to 31 miles of daily riding. The 6-day trip is priced at $6,495 per person.

Explore orchards, forests and vineyards as we ride to the Jewish cemetery of Rosenwiller, visit the Spindler Marquetry Workshop, and explore the charming village of Obernai. Return to the hotel for an evening chat with a local historian.

Ride through the lush Andlau Valley, past the charming village of Mittelbergheim known for its pink stone houses and rich winegrowing history. Pass by the Andlau Abbey, founded by Saint Richardis, before reaching the village of Le Hohwald in a pine forest setting.

Tackle incredible panoramas with ease

Move with ease through the colourful villages and tidy vineyards of Alsace understanding the long, evolving story of this region. Along the way you'll tuck into private events and sample delightful wines. 

After breakfast this morning, we will drop you off at the Strasbourg train station in time for the 10:44 AM direct train to Paris-Est Station arriving at 12:31 PM. Those who needs to fly back home the same day will have to depart earlier from the hotel with a separate transfer at your own expense. (Direct train to Paris Roissy CDG airport departs Strasbourg Station at 7:31 AM arriving at  9:28 AM)

While our daily routes average 40 to 50 km (25 to 31 mi.) daily, e-bike technology brings the peaks within everybody’s reach. With this in mind, we've rated this trip as recreational since the option for a boost is always available. The hills of Alsace are indeed alive though, and the more time you’ve spent in the saddle beforehand the more you will enjoy the ride.

After meeting your B&R guides at the Hotel Cour du Corbeau - MGallery in Strasbourg this morning, you’ll have a brief introduction to your e-bikes before setting off  on a morning ride through the centre of Strasbourg with its picturesque historic quarter la Petite France. Please be dressed to bike and bring with you anything you might need for the day (camera, wind breaker/raincoat, etc.). If there are any changes to the rendezvous details, your guides will leave a message at your hotel. Please ensure we have all your pre-trip contact information.
