"Very little changes in the rural corners of Scotland, and what does change does so slowly—much in the same way we explore quiet back-country roads and gorgeous mountain passes so you can slip into traditional villages, where the progression of historic castles into beautifully restored hotels can truly be appreciated."
—Lucy Clark, Experience Designer
in scotland’s wild landscapes, at once both bold and fair...
Discover a land of strong traditions, of captivating history, of warmth and welcome. Hike Highland trails past deep lochs and towering mountains and bike through woodlands, across misty moors and wind-swept isles. This is a land of kilt-wearing clansmen, of bagpipes and tartan, of proud traditions that weave history with folklore. In the comfort of welcoming inns and imposing castles, find locals willing to share a wee dram of whisky over tales tall and true. From all this magic, let us craft a bonnie bespoke adventure, tailored for your own clan.
Discover the possibilities:
Scotland Biking
Scotland’s craggy peaks, rolling glens and abundant lochs are the dramatic backdrop to your Scottish biking adventure. Bike through heather-clad hills, past grand lodges and cascading waterfalls. Go local with cozy pub dinners or try the standout food at Monachyle Mhor. Tour a unique residence at Balmoral and visit a 13th c. ancestral castle. Reward yourself with spectacular views on Highland climbs, or take the ‘cultural’ route with a private driver to our favourite local whisky distillery!
Scotland Walking
A pair of hiking boots, a beckoning loch, mist over the moors and perhaps a wee whisky along a Highland trail. Scotland was made for walking, with history and tradition ready to greet you around every bend. A 15th c. castle whispers of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Lunches in historic inns are followed by private whisky tastings. Traditional fiddle music fills the evening air. On the Isle of Skye wild landscapes, sandy beaches and distant vistas of isles and mountains await.
Scotland Family Adventure
Adventure calls on our Scotland Family trip. Ride the Jacobite Steam Train immortalized in the Harry Potter films through magical landscapes. Join a traditional storyteller for folktales in the ruins of Old Inverlochy Castle, bike through ancient forests and hike stunning Glen Nevis. Sea kayaking the turquoise waters of the Sound of Arisaig brings porpoises, seals, otters and dolphins, then finish with a beach bonfire, star-gazing, on the Isle of Skye.
